Butter is the most sophisticated animal fat and a perfect source of energy. It owes its high nutritional value to the large amount of EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids): linoleic, linolenic and peanut acids, which are not produced by human body and, thus, must be provided in food. Butter is made using sweet or sour cream which is churned. One good point about butter is that it is a natural source of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K) as well as carbohydrates, protein and mineral salts (calcium, phosphorus).
Its color is determined by natural ingredients only and it depends on the season of the year and the method of cow feeding.
